Access Rides was founded to meet the growing need for accessible, reliable, and customer-focused transportation. The inspiration comes from my brother, Kristofer, a quadriplegic who faces daily challenges with mobility and transportation. His experience showed how critical dependable, compassionate service is, and how often it’s missing.

Along the way, we’ve seen that seniors and others with limited mobility face similar struggles, even for everyday activities like doctor’s visits, grocery trips, or social outings. While technology has made booking rides easier for some, it can be confusing or overwhelming for many. For people living with paralysis, entering payment information or typing in pickup addresses can be frustrating, or even impossible. Voice prompts don’t always solve the problem, and navigating apps can be stressful.

That’s why Access Rides is built on personal connection. We make it simple to pick up the phone, talk to a real person, and book a ride without stress or confusion. At the same time, we’re designing future enhancements, including online booking and accessible app features, to meet the needs of all our riders.

Every ride is delivered with care, dignity, and ease, because we believe transportation should never be a barrier it should open the door to independence and freedom.
